Community Enrichment

At Victoria College we feel it is so important that our students are seen and valued as equal citizens wherever and whenever possible.

Our Community Enrichment programme allows each student to go out every week to experience a wide variety of places, cultures and local attractions. We have visited a wide range of places including Akamba (an African heritage centre), Garden centres, The Botanical Gardens, theatres for immersive art productions, the Conservation Park, local cafes, shopping areas and bowling.

We believe that the community visits are vital to our students and to re -visit places is just as important as this builds up a good relationship with the people we meet.

We also have a lot of community visitors to college and regularly have the Community Fire Officer visit with a fire truck, community art work shops have taken place with Big Top Music and Art group, John the Story Teller and past staff and students are regular visitors too.
